Hi, I’m Larissa Banitt!

I’m a registered nurse and freelance writer and editor living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I graduated St. Olaf College with a Bachelor’s in English in 2019 and completed my accelerated Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Oregon Health and Science University in 2021. Now I’m bringing together my two degrees to write and edit medical content and copy. I also write in the food, travel, and book niches!

When I’m not caring for patients or writing, I am spending time with my partner, two cats, and German shepherd. Born and raised in the PNW, I love finding the best day hikes around Portland, OR, skiing, riding my horse, and generally enjoying the outdoors. I’m also an avid gluten free cook, baker, and knitter and crocheter.
